DESIRABLE FUTURES STUDY
Who decides what futures are possible, and what futures are desirable?
This study asks what futures are desirable for individuals and communities whose daily lives are largely intertwined with energy economies in Canada and the United States.
By learning from the experiences of those who labour in energy landscapes and hearing their stories, this study hopes to explore these larger questions:

-What constitutes meaningful work?

-What stories are told about what futures are possible, and which are desirable?

-What does a desirable future look like to workers and communities affected by changing energy landscapes?
